RocheIndy
RocheIndy.com

RocheIndyThis website was redesigned in 2019 to give potential talent an inside look a what it’s like to work at Roche Indy. The site showcases employee stories, highlights open roles and provides a glimpse of the campus. It combined two websites into one more effective one that is more closely aligned with the other Roche sites around the globe.

MyCummins

MyCummins_aFrom 2011 to 2013, I was the editor for Cummins Inc.’s corporate intranet, serving more than 40,000 employees globally. My work involved editing and posting daily news stories, advising internal customers who wished to add new pages, making updates and providing new content owners training on the site’s content management system, TeamSite.

Additionally, I facilitated a social community and a monthly meeting for more than 375 content owners. I also monitored site analytics and developed a monthly report of key performance indicators, such as readership and findability.

The intranet was only accessible by those with a Cummins ID.

Key Club

Key_Club_website_screen_shot_aThis website was redesigned in 2010 to serve as a primary marketing tool for the high school leadership and service organization with more than 250,000 members. Along with Key Club staff, I worked to rewrite and reorganize content into a more user-friendly format. The Indiana Society of Association Executives recognized the new design by awarding it Best Association Website Runner Up at the 2010 STAR Awards.

In addition to serving a marketing purpose, this website was also a destination for members, leaders and club advisors to find service project ideas, download images and marketing collateral, pay dues and more. On a day-to-day basis, I was responsible for publishing news, creating ads, building landing pages and making site updates on a content management system, Sitefinity. In addition to this work, I co-managed Key Club’s Facebook page and Twitter accounts.

Circle K International

I managed this website from January 2009 to May 2011. The site was set up as an online magazine for members, which meant I wrote, edited and posted feature stories and artwork and posted poll questions and results. Another facet of my role involved updating content to educate members on annual leadership elections, awards and international conventions. I also worked closely with designers to develop Web ads for the site. This website ran on a content management system called Sitefinity. In 2011, the site was redesigned to match other Kiwanis-family websites. I also co-managed CKI’s Facebook page and Twitter accounts.

MyCommunity/Around the Network
mycommunity.ecommunity.com

When I first started working at Community Health Network in December 2006, the employee newsletter was only available in print. Soon after I started, the newsletter evolved into an online blog that I updated with new stories daily. The print publication didn’t go away though. Many staff members, including nurses, doctors and custodial staff weren’t able to access the intranet daily so they still wanted to see the culmination of two weeks of stories in a print format. The intranet is only available to employees of the network.
