During my career, I’ve served as the editor of a number of publications, including a glossy monthly women’s magazine, the award-winning Key Club magazine and various internal employee newsletters and intranets.
Roche Diagnostics Leader’s Digest
Leader’s Digest is a monthly internal eNewsletter and Google site that is meant to provide Roche Indianapolis-affiliated people leaders with bite-sized, actionable information to help them stay organized and be more effective. Our goal for the publication was for people leaders to learn and then inform their teams about a variety of important and timely topics.

She magazine

She magazine is a 48-page glossy, monthly
publication inserted in The Republic newspaper. She features stories about fashion, health, entertainment and inspirational women. I served as editor of She from August 2005 to December 2006. For each issue, I came up with story ideas, wrote them myself or assigned them to one of the staff writers or freelancers. I also coordinated and directed photo shoots and designed the entire 48-page publication.

The publication comes out in April and September and includes a range of feature stories. As editor, I was responsible for managing freelance writers, editing submissions, compiling club information, writing stories and working with the graphic designer to generate design concepts for the cover and interior pages
